how we keep your child safe
Your child’s safety is our priority at Lumina Stage Academy.
We are committed to providing a secure and nurturing environment for all our students, with safeguarding at the core of everything we do.
All directors, teachers, and assistants at Lumina Stage Academy undergo Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks to ensure the highest level of safety and suitability.
Our director works closely with a specialised child protection team to uphold and maintain safeguarding policies.
We also arrange independent annual reviews to ensure our academy meets the most rigorous safety standards. In addition, all necessary insurance, fire safety measures, and first aid protocols are firmly established.
Health and Illness Policy
To protect the health of our students and staff, please do not send your child to Lumina Stage Academy if they are unwell. This includes symptoms such as a fever, persistent cough, or any other potentially contagious illness. If your child has experienced vomiting or diarrhoea, we kindly ask that they remain at home for 48 hours after the last occurrence.
We ask that students only bring essential items with them, such as water, a snack, or any required medical equipment (e.g., EpiPen). Where possible, mobile phones should remain at home.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will notify you of any updates to our safety procedures as necessary.
